“And He answers (the supplication of) those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, and gives them increase of His Bounty. And as for the disbelievers, theirs will be a severe torment.” (Ash-Shuraa, 42:26)

“Call upon your Lord in humility and privately; indeed, He does not like transgressors.” (Al-‘A’raf, 7:55)

“My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and [many] from my descendants. Our Lord, and accept my supplication.” (‘Ibrahim, 14:40)

“My Lord, grant me authority and join me with the righteous. And grant me a reputation of honor among later generations. And place me among the inheritors of the Garden of Pleasure.” (Ash-Shu’ara’, 26:83-85)

“And do not disgrace me on the Day they are [all] resurrected.” (Ash-Shu’ara’, 26:87)

“My Lord, increase me in knowledge.” (Taha, 20:114)

“Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower.” (‘Ali ‘Imran, 3:8)

“Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous.” (Al-Furqan, 25:74)

“My Lord, indeed I am, for whatever good You would send down to me, in need.” (Al-Qasas, 28:24)

“Our Lord, do not place us with the wrongdoing people.” (Al-‘A’raf, 7:47)
